Rebar Specialist, Inc. was established in February 1996 by David N. Thurman, as a reinforcing steel fabrication and ironworker installation company. The company is a spinoff of the reinforcing steel division of E-M-E, Inc., a company founded in 1973 by David N. Thurman and Karl Zuelke. Retaining all employees from the rebar division, the company moved to its present 150,000 square foot plant located on 15+ acres at 6880 North Broadway, St. Louis, Missouri.

Today, Rebar Specialist is a fully automated rebar fabricator and installer, handling over 20,000 tons of reinforcing steel each year. No order is too small or too large for our team of fabrication and installation professionals. We have completed projects from less than one ton up to five thousand tons.
